In this work, gray marble is accompanied by glass. It is designed vertically, contrasting with the horizontality and static energy of Zen gardens. This contrast transmits static energy upward and offers us different perspectives. A total of four white marble pieces are placed on the glass. The artist deliberately selected these pieces from disparate stones that explode and splash during the sculpting process. The water patterns in Zen gardens are applied to the glass, conveying the effects of matter in space to the viewer in three dimensions. Can the collision of two and three dimensions create an illusion? Does the visible influence the invisible? The artist considered these questions in his work and incorporated the answers he found into his work.
