ARTIST

Serap Duman İnce

Serap Duman İnce is an academic artist born in Trabzon and living in Antalya, Türkiye. She holds master's degrees in public relations and publicity, and folklore, and completed her qualification/doctorate in art and design.

He works in photography, video, and experimental cinema. While the primary motivation/source of all his works is himself, he explores themes such as duality, loneliness, incompleteness, and wounding, drawing inspiration from topics such as nature and humanity, birth, tradition, and culture. His works use metaphorical language to shape objects that pertain to real life. While attempting to transform the reality of life and his own unconscious into a symbolic language, the artist aims to provoke reflection and reveal embedded stories in the viewer through objects and subjects. While creating his series of photographs, he has not reprocessed any of the black-and-white or color shots in any editing program. The image quality and dimensions vary depending on the subject and motivation of each photograph. His videos and experimental films are available in 1080p and 720p image quality.
